Any Mobile Phone
The AutoRule Mobile App is available on all popular Apple IOS or Android phones, it is freely available for driver download and carriers can easily and affordably use it with both contracted and agency drivers alike.
Simplicity & Sophistication
Our mobile App has been designed to be incredibly easy to use. Underlying complexity within the Mobile App is completely invisible to the driver and the driver is presented with an extremely powerful, yet simple set of menu driven tasks. Even the design of the screen layouts has taken into consideration the need for clarity and simplicity.
Driver Safety First
Driver safety is of paramount importance to AutoRule and beyond warning notices that no driver should ever use the AutoRule Mobile Application whilst driving, the Mobile App is also locked and cannot be used by a driver when they are driving to a facility appointment booking.
Booking Schedule
A driver automatically receives both an overview and detailed listing of all future appointment bookings via the Mobile App. The driver can review all future appointment bookings and when ready, the driver can accept an appointment booking for expedite. Each appointment booking provides detailed information in respect to the exact GPS location and security level at a facility entry/exit.
ETA Tracking
Once a driver accepts an appointment booking, the Mobile App tracks the exact ETA to the facility using GPS technology, switching to a highly accurate geofence centred on the facility gatehouse when the vehicle is nearing the facility. GPS tracking is a background process, it is completely automatic and invisible to the driver, completely without the need for any driver interaction. Drivers can take comfort breaks, make required regulatory stops and or overnight stops, the technology automatically adjusts the ETA accordingly, again without driver intervention.
Facility entry/exit security
Depending on the level of facility entry/exit security requirements, the Mobile App uses:
- A combination of either ANPR Camera or QR Code
- Booking Reference Number
- Geofence Information
- And ETA Information
to provide complete multi-factor authentication for that appointment booking.
This is smart security.
3D Facial Recognition
If a facility uses our elevated (TAPA aligned) security service, the Mobile App uses powerful 3D facial recognition technology to verify the exact identity of the driver accurately and quickly, without the need for a manned security gate on entry/exit to the facility.
Dual Language
If a driver arrives at a facility in a different country and the driver doesn’t speak the local language, this is no problem for the AutoRule Mobile App. The driver simply switches between their preferred language and the local language for the facility within the Mobile App making communications quicker and simpler.
On Facility Location Tracking
The Mobile App uses a smart combination of entry/exit security data, geofencing and GPS data to provide the exact location of a vehicle/driver when they are on facility. Even if the driver takes their mobile phone with them and leaves the vehicle parked, the smart technology will detect that the vehicle has been left unattended.
Data collection
AutoRule Mobile App uses the mobile phone’s camera technology to enable to the driver within the App to capture various transportation data which is automatically appended to the appoint booking centrally. Information such as a cargo containers ISO6346 data, the trailer ID tag or the trailer/container security ID tag. AutoRule can even configure the data capture of bespoke information specific to our customer business requirements the possibilities are endless.
Zero cost usage
The Mobile App collects data, but it is the AutoRule central systems that use and process that data. Consequently, drivers do not use any of their data allowance, with the costs for GPS tracking and distribution of appointment bookings to the Mobile App all being part of the service fee.
Health and Safety
AutoRule Mobile App can even notify and request the acceptance of local facility Health & Safety procedures, with drivers presented specific Health & Safety procedures within the App when they arrive at a facility, and which must be accepted by the driver before they can proceed with any loading/unloading activities.
